Ferrari Testa Rossa Representation

Representation of a 1959 Ferrari Testa Rossa

Our customer’s brief was to make a recreation of the classic 1959 Testa Rossa using modern mechanicals and keeping as close as possible to the spirit of the original car. The mechanicals are from a crashed Ferrari 456, giving a 5.5litre V12 and a 6 speed trans axle as a base. The chassis and suspension have been created in house in our mechanical department and is as close as possible to the original specifications, allowing for the extra size of the more modern mechanicals. The EFI induction system has been redesigned and created in our engineering department to replicate the look of the original six-carburettor set up. The car is nearly ready for road-testing and will head to the panel shop for the creation of the bodywork once the suspension setup and engine tuning has been finalised.
